Funerals

The death of a loved one can be a difficult and sad time.

Grieving is hard at the best of times, but at the moment during lockdown it is just plain rubbish.  It is the hardest thing when you are not able to get together with family and friends to remember the life of someone that you’ve lost.  Memories are important and we need to hang on to them.

Be assured that we are here for you in your time of grief.  If you want someone to talk to then do contact George on 07484 310276.

It is with our profound sadness that we are not allowed currently to host a funeral service in the church building, but that doesn’t stop us being there for you.  If you would like us to preside at a funeral service at the crematorium / cemetery, then please ask the funeral director to contact George.

If you have loved ones who can’t be at the funeral, then it may be helpful to encourage mourners to remember your loved one by lighting a candle, or a virtual one https://www.churchofengland.org/life-events/funerals/light-candle-remember-someone.
