Boaz Trust Night Shelter Update

Volunteers at St Peters’ Church Boaz night shelter

Due to the Coronavirus situation, the City Council has kindly provided accommodation for all the men..

Click here for an update from Boaz.

Please pray for the men at this time – particularly in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The night shelter will not be restarting in October due to the Coronavirus situation. There is a possibility it might restart in January, depending on circumstances.

Thank you to the mosque and Turkish restaurant for previously helping with food when the night shelter was at St Peter’s.

If the night shelter restarts in January there may be opportunities to help . Details to follow when we have more information,

The Boaz Night Shelter is for men who are asylum seekers who would otherwise be sleeping on the street. The men are referred to the Boaz Trust who select 12 men for the Night Shelter. Other churches in Manchester cover the other nights. It generally operates from October to April.

If you are a member of a local church and would like to help, please speak to George or Harriet.

If you would like to give a financial donation please contact us or Boaz
